Executive Director, Ginna O’Connor shares, “We are pleased to announce a modest increase in store hours at both The Shops at The Caring Place and Second Helping. We hope these additional hours will allow more customers to find their way to making ‘Shopping for Good’ part of their shopping habits. Hours at our stores will be 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. beginning September 1st. Second Helping remains by appointment only. In addition, we are changing our Food Pantry Drive Through hours to Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Our goal is to increase capacity in other areas of our organization while providing food support on a regular basis to our neighbors in need. For the last several months, we have struggled with doing everything we do with fewer people. With some of our volunteers returning, we are looking forward to scaling up as we’re able, and these changes in hours will allow for some additional flexibility.”
