Since 1985, The Caring Place has provided for the basic human needs of people in Georgetown and northern Williamson County, TX in a welcoming, respectful and caring way.
The Caring Place is a community-based, community-supported, and community-serving 501(c)(3) organization that serves as a safety net for the people of Georgetown, Andice, Bartlett, Florence, Granger, Jarrell, Jonah, Schwertner, Walburg, Weir, and the portion of Hutto that lies within GISD.

Your one-time gift, a monthly gift, or a gift in honor or memory of a loved one will support the mission of The Caring Place. You can choose to allocate your donation where it is needed the most, or you may direct your donation to the Food Pantry or Loads of Caring.

Proudly sponsored by the City of Georgetown, The Good Neighbor Fund is a program designed to assist eligible Georgetown Utility customers who are having difficulty paying their utility bill. Voluntary contributions from customers like you fund this program, which is administered by The Caring Place on behalf of the City.

You may drop off your gently used and unwanted items Monday-Saturday from 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. These items are turned into cash which covers operating costs and supports families in need. Find more info on the "Donate My Stuff" section of our website.

You can double or even triple your impact through corporate matching gift programs. When you shop at Second Helping, The Shops at the Caring Place or at our The Caring Place ebay store, your purchase is used to fund operating costs for the food pantry and the many programs and services offered by The Caring Place. We like to call this "Shopping for Good!"
