Hunger Free Holidays Food Drive
The holidays should be a time of joy and not worry about where your next meal will come from. That’s what Hunger Free Holidays Food Drive is all about, and we need your help.
This year we want to collect a minimum of 350,000 pounds of non-perishable food items to help struggling in Georgetown and northern Williamson County. Let’s make sure our neighbors have food!
From October 1st through December 31st, community members who drop off non-perishable food items at The Caring Place*, host a food drive or make a monetary donation to the Food Pantry will contribute to reaching this goal. Your generosity will help us provide food to children, families and seniors during this busy and festive season.
For more information about Hunger Free Holidays Food Drive, a list of requested items, how to borrow a blue barrel, or volunteer at the food pantry, visit www.caringplacetx.org.
*Non-perishable donations can be dropped off Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at 2000 Railroad Ave. For additional information about scheduling large individual or group donations, contact fooddonations@caringplacetx.org.
