Jewelry Show and Boutique Grand Re-Opening

On Thursday, May 2nd from Noon to 3pm, The Caring Place is hosting a Jewelry Show at 2000 Railroad Avenue in the newly expanded Boutique at The Shops at The Caring Place.

With Mother’s Day around the corner, The Shops at The Caring Place is a great place to start shopping for Mom.  With the recently expanded Boutique showcasing jewelry, name brand clothes, purses, accessories and even gift cards, there is a lot to choose from.  Store Director, Ann Lind shares, “The Boutique is one is the most popular areas in our store and it only made sense to expand it.  Loyal customers know the Boutique for the many name brands that come through like Chico’s, Ann Taylor and Calvin Klein, but browsing space was limited.  By expanding our Boutique into the main store, we hope more customers will see all that we have to offer.”

The Boutique expansion coincides with the upcoming Jewelry Show, which The Shops at The Caring Place offers a few times a year.  “We have a team of dedicated jewelry volunteers that make sure we have a wonderful selection of fine and costume jewelry ready to go for each show,” say Lind.  “With 42 years of volunteer experience between a handful of volunteers, they have really honed their skills as jewelry sellers,” says Lind.

The Caring Place has two thrift stores offering gently used items to the public.  The Shops at The Caring Place at 2000 Railroad Avenue in Georgetown is open Monday-Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m and until 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays.  Second Helping at 3700 Williams is open Monday-Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 pm.
