 \, neighborhoods\, churches and other organizations may donate\nnon-perish
 able food items or organize food drives. If organizing a Food Drive\, grou
 ps can call The\nCaring Place to borrow the organization’s signature blue 
 Food Barrels. “With a goal of 225\,000\, we\nare definitely looking for co
 mmunity support.”\n\n“This year\, we’d like to recognize group Food Drives
  on Social Media to illustrate how giving can be\nfun. We know groups like
  to have fun when they give. For example\, you might have your book club\n
 or Bunco group bring canned goods to your next meeting. Or\, maybe your yo
 uth group wants to trick-\nor-treat for nonperishables in your neighborhoo
 d? Sometimes groups like a challenge too\, like\nbringing items that start
  with a certain letter or the items to make your favorite holiday meal. Th
 ere\nare endless ideas to make Food Drives interesting. We hope you’ll tak
 e a picture of your group or\nyour fun ideas and share it with us\, so we
